How Far Should You Run

Apparently, there is a simple equation relating optimal running-event distance and body size. Nature has a calculator to figure out what your event should be. It was pretty accurate for me.

Either I am stupid, or I have the BMI of a man who shouldn't run at all. (23)

Hmm, yeah. According to that chart, my ideal running distance is about twenty meters.

I guess I forgot to mention that these are pure-muscle runners with BMIs a little different than the normal population.

Flashback that your comments gave me:
Having my body fat measured in an open room filled with cross country runners. I was the first volleyball player in line, and the CC runners were before us. They were still there when the Dr. yelled out my fat content--all the twigs just stared as if I had sprouted wings and a tail.

Blah.

I just kept changing my weight until I got the result that I wanted--that's how science is done people;)

Oh.

I hadn't thought of that. I *would* like to be taller...
